The Longest Day is all about love. Doing what we love to honor those living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers. Throughout the month of June, Vermonters are making purple pasta, riding bicycles and motorcycles, hiking mountains, gardening, playing bridge, hosting cocktail parties and more. The Longest Day Rally on Church Street
June 21, 2017 | 5:30-6:30pm |Burlington’s City Hall

Everyone is invited to come together with a sense of hope and to claim this day as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness day. Let’s turn Church Street purple for Alzheimer’s awareness; we’ll recognize caregivers and celebrate the accomplishments of Vermont’s Longest Day teams and events. The Longest Day Rally on Church Street is free and open to the public.

Burlington Free Press covers Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month in special section

Sunday’s Burlington Free Press featured a special section highlighting Alzheimer’s and related dementias in Vermont. The section brings attention to those living with the disease, caring for a loved one, and others advocating for the cause across the state. Be sure to pick up a copy or click here for a digitized version. Hometown papers will share this on Friday, June 9.

Special thank you to Free Press Media for this wonderful partnership.
