Ballet Hispánico

Dance Company

Ballet Hispánico is the largest Latinx/Latine/Hispanic cultural organization in the United States and one of America's Cultural Treasures. Ballet Hispánico's three main programs, the Company, School of Dance, and Community Arts Partnerships bring communities together to celebrate the multifaceted Hispanic diasporas. Ballet Hispánico's New York City headquarters provide the physical home and cultural heart for Latinx dance in the United States. It is a space that initiates new inclusive cultural conversations and explores the intersectionality of Latine cultures. No matter their background or identity – Latine, Latinx, Hispanic – Ballet Hispánico welcomes and serves all, breaking stereotypes and celebrating the beauty and diversity of Hispanic cultures through dance.

Evan Drachman

Cellist

Cellist Evan Drachman, Founder and Artistic Director of The Piatigorsky Foundation, has combined musical talent with artistic vision to create a rich and varied career. Mr. Drachman spends much of his time performing recitals, concerti and chamber music in the United States and abroad. As Artistic Director of The Piatigorsky Foundation, he has become one of this country's most respected authorities on the presentation of live classical music to diverse audiences.

His Bachelor of Musical Arts degree is from the Curtis Institute of Music. His performances have spanned the globe including the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Sweden, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, India, France and Italy. Mr. Drachman has made five recordings, A Frog He Went a Courting, Infinity and Romance and Revelation with pianist Richard Dowling as well as Full Circle and Fantasy with pianist Victor Santiago Asuncion.

Evan currently lives in Maryland with his wife Joan and their two sons, Eli and Oliver.

R.Q.Tek

Rapper

R.Q.Tek (Righteous Quest That Enters Kingdom) is a rapper and producer from the Upper East Side in New York City. Using his childhood stories and experiences, he grabs the listener in a lyrical trip dealing with Love, Faith and Mental Health. His new album "Happiness is Real" is available now on all platforms.

Wan-Chi Su

Pianist

Pianist Wan-Chi Su has performed both as a soloist and a collaborative artist at major venues, including Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall, Salle Cortot in Paris, the Taiwan National Concert Hall in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Decorated with numerous awards, Dr. Su won first prize in both the Taiwan Cultural Cup Invitational Piano Competition and the Taiwan National Student Music Competition in Piano.

She furthered her pursuit of musical excellence, obtaining a Master of Music, a Graduate Performance Diploma, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, where she primarily studied under Seth Knopp and Benjamin Pasternack. Dr. Su currently serves on the faculty at Georgetown University and Loyola University Maryland.
