About Brain Health At Work

ABOUT BRAIN HEALTH AT WORK™

Adults spend about one-third of each day at their jobs. The Alzheimer's Association created Brain Health At Work to meet people where they are—at work—and give them evidence-informed brain health and dementia resources. This program helps employers take practical action to make a difference in the lives of their employees.

RISK REDUCTION FOR ALL

Research shows there are steps people can take to support brain health. Brain Health At Work helps employers incorporate evidence-informed brain health support into the workplace in practical ways. Risk reduction is not one-size-fits-all, so the program focuses on simple actions employees can take, like:

  • Being physically active
  • Managing blood pressure, weight and diabetes
  • Creating healthy sleep habits
  • Reducing tobacco use
  • Learning new things and challenging your mind
  • Lowering risk of head injury through safety practices
