Your recognition is valid for one year from the date you receive your recognition toolkit. If you complete the assessment by September, your recognition will apply to the current calendar year. If you complete the assessment in October or later, your recognition will apply to the next calendar year.
Yes, you can retake the assessment six months after your submission if you would like to reevaluate your wellness offerings and potentially improve your recognition level.
As part of its suite of new offerings to promote brain health, the Alzheimer’s Association is excited to present Brain Health At Work. This no-cost program helps employers create brain-healthy workplaces, reduce employee risk of cognitive decline and support employees who are caregivers. It provides education, tools and recognition for employers who participate.

Participants complete the Brain Health At Work Assessment and gain access to resources, recognition, and data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Any employer—large or small, across all industries—can join. Participation is open to private companies, nonprofits, health care organizations, educational institutions, and government employers.
Organizations must be in good legal standing and maintain active operations to be eligible for recognition through the Brain Health at Work program. The Alzheimer’s Association reserves the right to verify eligibility and determine recognition based on organization’s status and assessment score.
Recognition highlights your organization’s commitment to brain health and caregiver support. Recognized employers receive a certificate, digital badge, and opportunities for visibility through the Alzheimer’s Association.

Anyone from an organization may complete the assessment. However, we recommend that the assessment is completed by Human Resource leaders, wellness coordinators or another team member who oversees employee health and well-being programs.
Provided you have the necessary information, the assessment usually takes about 15 minutes.
