VIRGINIA ADVOCACY DAY
Coming in 2025!
Alzheimer’s Disease is one of the most critical public health issues in America and right here in Virginia. More than 160,000 people in the Commonwealth are living with Alzheimer’s - a number estimated to increase to 190,000 by 2025. This is why Virginians are unrelenting in their advocacy for public policies that develop and increase support services for all affected.
Join the Alzheimer’s Association and our advocates on Thursday, February 1, 2024 in Richmond for our Virginia Advocacy Day. We need your voice to encourage policymakers to make Alzheimer’s a priority. For Virginia’s families. For your family. It’s time to #ENDALZ.

Take Action! Become an Advocate
Conquering Alzheimer’s is as much a matter of public policy as scientific discovery, and we need your help to change the future of this devastating disease. As an advocate, you will be invited to engage public officials and policymakers in a variety of ways, urging their support for critical Alzheimer's legislation and policy changes. Whether you prefer sending emails to legislators, posting updates to Facebook, or hosting events or even meeting in-person with your elected officials, there are many ways you can make a difference as an Alzheimer's Association Advocate.
