Auburn native, Fallyn Fossum, grew up going to care homes to visit her grandmother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease before Fallyn was born. After losing her grandmother to the disease two years ago, the 12-year-old wanted to do something to help others who had a loved one with Alzheimer’s, aiming to provide resources for children to help understand and break down the stigma of the disease.
