Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event dedicated to Alzheimer’s care, support and research
CHICAGO, Sept. 25, 2025 — The Alzheimer’s Association announced that Edward Jones will serve as national presenting sponsor with Axsome Therapeutics, Biogen, Eisai and Salesforce as national sponsors for the 2025 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, taking place in more than 600 communities across the country this fall. This year marks the tenth consecutive year that Edward Jones will serve as the national presenting sponsor for Walk. Eisai joined as a national sponsor in 2023. Biogen became a national sponsor in 2024. Axsome and Salesforce joined as sponsors this season.
“The Alzheimer’s Association is incredibly grateful for the continued support of our national presenting sponsor, Edward Jones, and for the partnership of Axsome, Biogen, Eisai and Salesforce as national sponsors of this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” said Donna McCullough, chief operating officer of the Alzheimer’s Association. “Their support empowers the Alzheimer’s Association to reach more families impacted by Alzheimer’s with critical care, resources and disease-related research.”
More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. Additionally, nearly 12 million family members and friends provide care to people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Funds raised for Walk are used to provide critical care and support resources to individuals and families affected by dementia. In addition, these funds are fueling promising disease-related research across the world. Current research investments by the Alzheimer’s Association total more than $450 million — funding over 1,200 projects in 56 countries.
On Walk day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the inspiring Promise Garden ceremony, a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. The colors of the Promise Garden flowers represent people’s connection to Alzheimer’s — their personal reasons to end the disease.
In 2024, more than 350,000 individuals participated in more than 600 Walks across the country, raising over $100 million.
