    Our volunteers are passionate, inspired and want to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia in our community. As an Alzheimer’s Association volunteer, you can make a meaningful impact for people and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia in your community. With support groups, education programs, awareness opportunities, advocacy initiatives, fundraising events and more, we have volunteer options for you at the Central and Western Kansas Chapter.

    Community Educator

    Our Community Educators are individuals who present educational workshops to caregivers and individuals with Alzheimer's or another dementia, and also to community organizations and their employees. The Alzheimer's Association provides training to all Community Educators.

    Support Group Facilitator

    The Central & Western Kansas Chapter offers more than 30 support groups throughout our service area. Facilitators are experienced caregivers through personal or professional experience.
