The Judy Fund

Together, We Have Raised Over $10 Million to End Alzheimer's!

The Judy Fund logo

Once just a vision, The Judy Fund has evolved into a movement dedicated to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease.

Marshall M. Gelfand established the family fund in 2003 at the Alzheimer’s Association in loving memory of his wife. The Judy Fund, now chaired by his daughter, Elizabeth Gelfand Stearns, remains the largest and fastest-growing family fund at the Alzheimer’s Association. Marshall’s goal was to raise $1 million; today, with your help, over $10 million has been raised across the country.

Your gifts have advanced care and research, bolstered advocacy efforts and increased public awareness. Your generosity will be a part of the solution.

Read a Message from Elizabeth

.

"Our father has shown us all what one family can do to help change the world. Our father's ultimate battle, his fight against Alzheimer's disease, is a very personal one — it's one that honors our mother and is a way to protect us, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the future generations of our family. His fight is an example of leading from the heart."

— Elizabeth Gelfand Stearns

"I remember when Judy first exhibited signs of Alzheimer's and how my heart broke in a thousand pieces. She was the most competent, capable person. If there were 100 hours in the day, there were 107 for Judy. She did everything with her iconic smile, great joy and great love, humor and sweetness."

— Susan Mendelson Stein
