Join us to learn about and share your experience with challenges faced in rural Iowa accessing Alzheimer's and dementia care and support. We want to hear directly from you, and you'll hear from experts in the field on the impact and ways to improve these issues as well.

In Iowa, more than 62,000 people are living with Alzheimer’s. Nearly 100,000 caregivers dedicate 125 million hours of unpaid care. From Des Moines to Cedar Rapids to the Quad Cities and every town in between, your local Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is here to help.

Whether it’s offering support to anyone facing Alzheimer’s, advocating for the needs and rights of those facing dementia, or advancing critical research, we work toward methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately, a cure.
