    Equipped for Care: A Family Caregiver Month Virtual Series

    Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter and AARP Massachusetts

    This November, in partnership with AARP Massachusetts, the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter presents a free virtual series built for family caregivers at every stage. Each session brings a new topic, from understanding the financial realities of dementia to navigating cultural perspectives on care, building practical skills, and knowing where to turn for support. Whatever stage of the caregiving journey you're in, there's a session made for you.
     

    Caregiving with a Cultural Lens

    Caring for a family member or close friend is one of the most important roles you'll ever play. Everyone's caregiving journey is different, and our unique cultural lens can add layers to the path we each are on. Regardless of where your role falls on the wide spectrum of caregiving tasks and responsibilities, we want to make it easier. In this online webinar, we will be joined by the Armenian Women's Welfare Association as well as an AARP Caregiving volunteer to share resources and discuss all things caregiving.

This session will explore practical ways to use tech tools for organizing schedules, prioritizing self-care, and accessing telehealth services. You'll also learn how to order groceries, prescriptions, and other essentials online, ensuring convenience and peace of mind for both caregivers and those they care for—all from the comfort of home.
