Meet David Thompson, the Board Chair of the Alzheimer’s Association Nebraska Chapter. David’s passion for raising awareness for Alzheimer's disease is both personal and professional. As an elder law attorney and former caregiver, he has seen firsthand the impact Alzheimer’s disease has on individuals and their loved ones.

“I support the Alzheimer’s Association because they provide caregiver support groups and other resources to help people living with the disease and their families,” David shares. “These services are not only essential for my own family, but also for the clients I work with every day.”

David brings his expertise, empathy, and leadership to the board with a deep commitment to the mission. He is especially enthusiastic about increasing public awareness around dementia and the recent advancements in diagnosis and treatment.

As board chair, David is also focused on building strong connections within Nebraska’s philanthropic and business communities. He believes that with greater awareness and support, we can expand the reach and impact of the chapter’s vital work.
