Harlem Fine Arts Show and Alzheimer’s Association Announce Historic Partnership

The collaboration will spotlight brain health in communities at highest risk of Alzheimer’s and other dementias

CHICAGO, Nov. 18, 2025 — The Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS), the largest traveling art show in the United States showcasing art and artists from the African Diaspora, is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association for its 2026 season. This powerful collaboration aims to uplift Black/African American communities through the theme “Celebrating Art, Advancing Alzheimer’s Awareness, and Inspiring Hope.”

As part of the partnership, the Alzheimer’s Association will have a featured presence at the Harlem Fine Arts Show’s flagship event Feb. 20-22, 2026, at The Glasshouse NYC, 660 12th Ave. Floor 6, New York, NY 10019. More than 10,000 attendees are expected to engage with fine art, thought leaders and critical conversations about memory, legacy and wellness.

Carl V. Hill, Ph.D., MPH, chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer, Alzheimer’s Association, sees this partnership as a unique opportunity to reach new audiences through shared storytelling. “The Alzheimer’s Association is honored to partner with the Harlem Fine Arts Show to shine a light on the impact of Alzheimer’s and dementia in Black/African American communities. Art is a powerful connector, and it allows us to uplift memory, legacy and voice in a way that’s both accessible and healing. Together, we are creating space for awareness, early detection and collective care.”

“This is more than just an art show. It’s a movement rooted in education, healing and intergenerational connection,” said Dion Clarke, Founder and CEO of the Harlem Fine Arts Show. “We are proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to bring visibility to an urgent issue that affects so many of our families, and to create a space where both art and advocacy thrive.”

The partnership will unfold over a five-month awareness and engagement campaign, uniting art, quality of life, technology, and community storytelling to deepen public understanding of brain health in Black/African American communities, which are disproportionately affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Through shared digital platforms, co-branded content, artist features and educational activations, HFAS and the Alzheimer’s Association will amplify awareness while celebrating the intersection of creativity and care. Together, they will spark dialogue, expand access to critical health information, and highlight the power of art as a tool for technological and social transformation.

Additional event programming and special guests will be announced in the coming months. For tickets, sponsorship opportunities, media inquiries or more information, visit www.hfas.org.
