Local Caregiver Support Groups

Support groups are groups of people who get together regularly to talk about issues relating to Alzheimer's disease. Groups combine social, educational and support components and are facilitated by trained individuals.

Support groups are a safe, confidential supportive environment where you can find support, encouragement and wisdom from others with similar experiences. You'll also get education and the latest information about dementia and will develop skills to help you problem solve. In addition to general caregiver support groups, our chapter offers topic-specific groups, including ones for adult caregivers, long-distance caregivers and others with specific needs.

We offer both in-person and virtual/telephone support groups. All support groups are free and open to the public, but pre-registration is recommended. To register, visit alz.org/crf, or contact our 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
