    The Power of Community

    The Power of Community

The Alzheimer’s Association® achieves our mission through volunteers and community partners who amplify community voices and provide leadership for our mission activities. The work needed to end the disease is escalating, but the Association is dedicated to meeting this need through our community, reach and partnerships. We need you! The power of community will allow us to achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia®.

Board members are the connectors, ambassadors and champions who help the Association reach every community we serve. They build partnerships that expand our reach, recruit volunteers and future leaders, and drive the fundraising that makes our mission possible — all while raising awareness in the workplaces, schools and organizations where they already have influence.

We're looking for capable, well-connected leaders who reflect the diversity of the communities we serve in Central Texas. Whether your connection to Alzheimer's is personal or professional, if you have a network you're willing to put to work for this mission, we want to hear from you.
