Volunteer Community
Currently, nearly 400,000 New Yorkers are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and more than 1 million family and friends are providing care. The WNY Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association serves Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming counties with education programs, support services, and other resources for care partners and those living with dementia. Our WNY Chapter office is located at 6400 Sheridan Drive, Suite 320 in Amherst. You can also reach our staff at 716.626.0600 extension 313 or by email at program.wny@alz.org. If you have questions about dementia or caregiving outside of traditional business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), our Helpline is staffed 24/7 at 800.272.3900.
