    Tracy Hayes of Saratoga elected to national Alzheimer's board

    A member of the Alzheimer's Association of Wyoming board of directors, Tracy Hayes of Saratoga has now been elected to the national board of directors of the Alzheimer's Association. The vice chair of the North Platte Valley Medical Center in Saratoga, Hayes serves as a care partner to her husband, Thomas, who was diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment in 2024.

    Tracy Hayes of Saratoga, Wyoming, has been elected to the national board of directors of the Alzheimer’s Association.

    Tracy HayesHayes joins the 25-member, volunteer governing board in steering the strategic direction of the Association as it carries out its mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

    Hayes recently retired as vice president of sales at Cigna Healthcare, concluding a 40-year career in the health care industry. At Cigna, she led strategy development for the company’s employee benefits division in Florida, collaborating with provider relations, underwriting, finance and executive leadership to grow membership, expand networks and increase revenue.

    Since retiring, Hayes has dedicated her time to volunteer leadership, serving on the boards of the Alzheimer’s Association Wyoming and Florida Gulf Coast chapters. She also serves as vice chair of the North Platte Valley Medical Center in Saratoga.

    Her decision to join the national board is deeply personal. Hayes currently serves as a care partner to her husband, Thomas, who was diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment in 2024.

    “Being elected to the National Alzheimer’s Association board of directors is a deeply meaningful
    honor,” Hayes said. “Like so many families, mine has been touched by this disease, and I am committed to helping drive the progress, support and hope that millions deserve.”

    Hayes will serve a two-year term on the national board. She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and human resources management from Georgia State University.

    More than 7.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Alzheimer’s Association 2025 Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures report, including more than 10,300 in Wyoming.
