    Join us for half-day conferences to provide education, support and motivation to caregivers in counties across Central New York.

    Onondaga County Mini-Conference

    Wednesday, June 3

    The conference will include a presentation on Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia, followed by a workshop from Jewish Family Services on how engagin in creative activities can help caregivers support their well-being to manage stress, present burnout and build resiliency. Light refreshments will be served.

    Cayuga County Mini-Conference

    The conference will include a presentation on Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia, followed by a workshop from Jewish Family Services on how engagin in creative activities can help caregivers support their well-being to manage stress, present burnout and build resiliency.     The conference will include a presentation on Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia, followed by a resource fair featuring local community organizations. A representative from Hospice & Palliative Care of New Hartford will speak about supportive care for individuals experiencing symptoms of chronic illness, such as Parkinson's or Alzheimer's disease.

    Speakers will present about building brain-helathy habits to reduce the risk of dementia and caregiver assistance tools, and a Na Teba Yoga instructor will lead participants in a Taekwando Yoga self-care activity.
