    Looking to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease? Consider becoming a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association NYC Chapter. Your dedication is vital in reaching and supporting those affected by this disease.

    As a volunteer, you can leverage your unique talents to create a meaningful impact in your community while connecting with others who share your passion. We are seeking diverse, mission-driven individuals to assist in delivering our programs, supporting fundraising events, and advocating for our cause.

    Program Volunteers

    As a program volunteer, you can:

    • Increase awareness of Alzheimer’s Association programs and services
    • Deliver education presentations
    • Forge partnerships with community and faith organizations
    • Organize engaging social activities for individuals living with dementia
    • Facilitate support groups for dementia caregivers
    • Assist with data entry, and more!

    Special Events and Fundraising Volunteers

    If you want to volunteer for special event and fundraising, you can:

    • Help plan, execute, and assist at events such as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and The Longest Day
    • Serve on event planning committees or leadership teams such as our Junior Board.
    • Represent the Alzheimer’s Association at events such as the TCS NYC Marathon and Corporate Challenge

    By advocating on behalf of those living with Alzheimer's and dementia and their families, New York City Chapter advocates help pass critical bipartisan legislation in Congress, increase federal research funding and advance New York policy priorities.
