In 2023, the Alzheimer's Association invested a record-breaking $100 million in research initiatives — an unparalleled commitment to dementia science. Help us keep the momentum going.
Currently, 410,000 New Yorkers are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and more than 580,000 family and friends are providing care.
The Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter is here to help families, caregivers, health care professionals, and those living with the disease in the five boroughs. We provide education and support, advocate for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and all other dementia, and advance critical research to develop new treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Alzheimer's is a journey, not a destination. Our free education programs can be an empowering step toward understanding how Alzheimer's disease or other dementia may impact your life.
