Alzheimer's Disease Prediction Service (ADPS): a computational biomarker

Ioannis Tarnanas, PhD
Trinity College
Dublin, Ireland

Dr. Tarnanas plans to collect behavior data from past studies in individuals with Alzheimer’s and analyze them with a computational technique called machine learning. This technique focuses on the design of systems that can learn from and make predictions based on the data. Results from the project will be used to provide a framework to help move research forward. Dr. Tarnanas’ project has the potential to help expand our knowledge on effective dementia interventions with a focus on vulnerable populations.
