    South Dakota Chapter Advocacy

Advocates in South Dakota write emails, attend local policy events, post to social media, and meet with their elected officials across South Dakota and Washington, D.C. They take action to urge lawmakers to pass bipartisan legislation that helps families living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia and to ask for more research funding to end this disease — once and for all.

Become an advocate and help advance public policies that continue to make Alzheimer’s a local and national priority.

    South Dakota Alzheimer's Advocacy Day

Each year, the Alzheimer’s Association South Dakota Chapter hosts a State Advocacy Day, empowering volunteers from across the state to advocate for public policies that improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Stay tuned for more information about the 2027 South Dakota Alzheimer's Advocacy Day.
