Even the folks living with dementia who are fortunate enough to have a large support system of family and friends will eventually require a level of care that is higher than that support system can provide. Changes in a person's needed level of care may occur unexpectedly, so it's important that caregivers plan and prepare for the future. Doing so can reduce stress, hence maximizing the qualify of life for all involved.

But with so many options available, sifting through them can be overwhelming. Caregivers can be left to wonder, "What resources are right for us?" The Alzheimer's Association is here to help. Join us Tuesday, August 5 from 1 - 2 p.m. to learn more about preparing for care transitions and available resources and support services.
