Wisconsin Chapter

Return to Office Plans - We’re Still Here for You!

The Alzheimer’s Association takes pride in being a community-based, community-focused organization. Following all state and public health guidelines, the Wisconsin Chapter will open offices and resume in-person activities beginning August 2, 2021.

Care and Support offerings – including some Education Programs and Support Groups – are also transitioning back to in-person meetings, following local public health guidelines. We ask for your patience as some transitions take time, depending on meeting location requirements. We will continue to offer virtual and on-demand options.

We are also excited that the Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be in-person in Wisconsin, with 27 Walks across our great state. This is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Join us:

Please call our 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900 for reliable information and support including the most up-to-date information on program opportunities in your area.

"There's nothing like being in-person. I feel the energy in the room. I feel like I'm helping, even if it's just handing an attendee a box of kleenex. It's also good for the caregiver to have an outlet, even if only briefly."
Diane, Support Group Facilitator, on returning to in-person activities

Currently, over 120,000 people in Wisconsin are living with Alzheimer's or dementia, and more than 196,000 people care for loved ones with the disease. We are here to serve the families in Wisconsin so that no one has to face this disease alone. The Alzheimer’s Association is available to you through our 24/7 Helpline: 800.272.3900

Serving the state of Wisconsin, the Association provides reliable information and care consultation; supportive services for families; educational opportunities; funding for dementia research; and advocacy efforts for public policy changes across the state.
