The Alzheimer's Association provides free care and support services to those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, as well as their caregivers.

The Greater East Ohio Area Chapter serves 17 counties, making care and support available to 60,000 people with Alzheimer's disease in our chapter area, and an additional 250,000 people affected through their role as caregivers.

With offices in Akron, Canton and Youngstown, the Greater East Ohio Area Chapter facilitates the Walk to End Alzheimer's® in seven communities, The Longest Day®, more than 30 monthly caregiver support groups, public education and awareness programs, as well as clinical trial matching and advocacy for policies concerning Alzheimer's, caregivers and brain health.
