The Michigan Chapter provides programs to help caregivers of those with Alzheimer's and dementia.Statewide Care Consultations
If you or someone you know is living with dementia or has memory concerns, the Care Consultation program may be the right fit for you. A counselor will work with you to discuss your needs and come up with a plan to meet them.Respite Care Assistance
Respite provides relief to people who are caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. Time away from caregiving responsibilities is essential to the well-being of caregivers. Respite care helps to reduce stress and improve the quality of care provided by caregivers. Thanks to our generous donors, the Michigan Chapter has respite care scholarships available in some of our areas that may be used to cover the cost of respite, including adult day programs, in-home care or overnight care.
