Caregiver support groups
The Alzheimer’s Association holds local support groups across the state for caregivers and individuals living with Alzheimer's and other dementias. The Alzheimer’s Association works to bring care and support to every community so that no one has to face dementia alone. Support groups create a safe, confidential and supportive environment. They give a chance for participants to develop mutual support and social relationships. These meetings are for unpaid family members or friends caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease, another dementia or a related disorder.Trained facilitators lead support groups via phone, video or in person.
