2025 Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Conference
November 17-20 | Free | Virtual
Registration is now open for our 6th Annual Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Conference. This virtual conference is free and open to Alzheimer's caregivers, healthcare professionals and the general public.
For the 6th year, the Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Chapter will be convening a diverse group of experts who specialize in the care and support of individuals living with Alzheimer's and dementia. Over a period of four days, eight webinars will be hosted to share their expertise and knowledge with caregivers and professionals.
8 CE hours will be offered for social workers. Certificates of Attendance for other professions will be given.
Conference presentations will be held via zoom each day at 10am & 2pm. The zoom links and details will be sent the week prior to the conference as well as on each day of the conference.

Speakers: Laurie Lawson, PhD, LCSW & Ronald Morton, JD, LL.M., CELA, AEPJoin this session to learn how to support individuals to make their own decisions and when legal or ethical intervention may be needed. Dr. Lawson is the executive director of the 4Cs and chair of the Department of Social Work at Mississippi College. Ronald Morton is the managing partner of Morton Law Firm, PLLC and specializes in Elder Law.
