A grant from your donor-advised fund (DAF) to the Alzheimer's Association can support everything from research to chapter programs to care and support initiatives.

Benefits of establishing a donor-advised fund (DAF)

When you establish a DAF with your financial institution or community foundation:

  • You receive a tax deduction for the year in which you contribute to your DAF.
  • You have the flexibility to grant specific amounts to the charities of your choice at a later date.

How to give to the Alzheimer’s Association through a DAF

You can recommend a grant to the Association along with the amount of the grant in either of two ways.

  1. Contact your financial institution or foundation. (If yours is included in the form below, you can recommend a grant online.)

The grant will arrive at the Alzheimer's Association with only the institution’s name and address on it, unless you request otherwise.*
  2. Call your philanthropic advisor or fund manager.

A check from your fund will be sent directly to the Alzheimer's Association.*

*Please request for your name and address to be included. We recommend that you contact the Alzheimer's Association to inform us of your gift, so we can thank you for your generosity.
