    Advocacy Day

    As an advocate you can help influence state policy, connect with fellow advocates, and make a real impact for families affected by dementia in your community. The National Capital Area Chapter participates in advocacy efforts in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Register for the D.C. Alzheimer's Advocacy Day on March 31. 

    Vision Gala

    In 2027, we will host the 13th Annual Vision Gala. The event will honor and celebrate Washington, D.C. leaders who are spearheading the fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia. Learn more about the Vision Gala or contact Evan Riggs.

    Marine Corps Marathon

    Join Team Oorah! to End Alz for the Marine Corps Marathon on October 25, 2026 and support the Alzheimer's Association. Your support as a runner and/or donor will help accelerate global research, provide support and resources in your community, and move us closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.     Ride to End ALZ® Nation's Capital

    Ride to End ALZ Nation's Capital is a unique opportunity to pedal through the history and beauty of the Virginia countryside and raise funds for Alzheimer's research.
