Bruce Baude retired from CNO Financial Group in December of 2022 as EVP, chief operations and technology officer. In this role, which he held since 2012, he provided strategic leadership over CNO’s operations and IT functions. Baude was previously chief operating officer at Univita Health. He joined Long Term Care Group in 2005 and served as chief executive officer through 2008, until its acquisition by Univita. From 2001 through mid-2005, he was president and chief executive officer of ProCard, Inc., a subsidiary of global payments processor TSYS. Before joining ProCard, Baude was with Bank One Corporation, where he held various roles including chief executive of Banc One Financial Card Services, a third-party payment processing company. He began his career with IBM, serving in both technical and sales roles supporting the automotive and financial services industries.
Baude graduated with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering/computer science from the University of Colorado. He serves as immediate past chair of the board of MIB Group, a nonprofit entity which serves the life insurance industry, and formerly served on chapter boards of the Alzheimer’s Association in Minnesota and Indiana.
Baude was elected to the board of directors in 2017.
