    Illinois Women Conquer Alz

Alzheimer’s is a women’s issue. Nearly two-thirds of Americans living with the disease are women and women are more likely to serve as caregivers. Illinois Women Conquer ALZ (IWCA) was created to change that reality by harnessing the power, passion and influence of women.

Founded in 2017, IWCA is a community of women committed to raising awareness, funding critical research, and supporting families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Together, we’re proving that when women unite, we create unstoppable momentum for change.
