Do you love to read and enjoy discussing books? Then join other family members in our Virtual Caregivers Book Club.
The group will be held from Feb. 7-Mar. 13, 2024, from 12-1 p.m. via Zoom.
We will read and discuss,
“Finding Life in the Land of Alzheimer's” by Lauren Kessler.
Participants will have an opportunity to discuss caregiver challenges and coping skills, relating what they read to their own experiences. We will relate this story to our own experiences and feelings in our journey of loving somebody living with Alzheimer’s Disease or another dementia. Our group facilitator will be social worker Linda Martinez, LCSW-R.
Participants will also be mailed a free copy of “Finding Life in the Land of Alzheimer's” by Lauren Kessler.
