The Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association® offers support groups and educational forums tailored to the African American community. Under advisement from our volunteer Black Alzheimer's Association Advisory Council (BAAC), we aim to empower the community with information and resources.

Held annually in the San Francisco Bay Area, the African American Caregiving & Wellness Forum is a free educational event. Attendees learn why African Americans are more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease, ways to reduce risk, and the latest caregiving techniques and Alzheimer's research findings.
