Updates on Missing Family Members

We are working to track evacuations from memory care facilities,
assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.
Many have relocated their residents to a safer place.

Family members who may be looking for their loved ones can call our
24/7 helpline at 800.272.3900 for more information.

Updates on Alzheimer's Association Services:

  • Our Santa Rosa and Lafayette office are now open.
  • The Petaluma Walk to End Alzheimer's, previously scheduled for October 21, has been postponed.
  • Our free 24/7 Helpline will remain open. Please direct all questions regarding offices closures, services, missing loved ones with dementia, and regular helpline question to 800.272.3900.

Places to Donate and Volunteer City, County, and Local Resources
 Animal Shelters:  Other Information:
  • Napa County Animal Shelter at 942 Hartle Ct, Napa will shelter dogs, cats, rabbits and other household animals
  • Large animals can be taken to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds at 1350 Bennett Valley Road. Access the Fairgrounds via Gate 7 on Aston Ave and Sonoma- Marin Fairgrounds at 175 Fairgrounds Drive in Petaluma.
  • Marin Humane can offer emergency board for animals, if needed. We have a special number set up for evacuees only: 415-250-7009

 

The Marin County Sheriff's Office is actively assisting nearby counties and has opened a temporary evacuation center at the Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium at 10 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael. Pets are also welcome at this location.
