Roxanne is running the 2025 San Francisco Marathon to honor her family and support the fight against Alzheimer’s. Through The Longest Day®, she’s turning her training into a powerful fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Brenda Colling, inspired by her experience caring for two parents with dementia, found strength through the Alzheimer’s Association. Turning grief into action, she launched a 5K fundraiser for The Longest Day®, now an annual event supporting caregivers with vital resources.

Andrew was deeply influenced by his grandmother, whose battle with Alzheimer’s inspired his passion for advocacy and a career in medicine. Now, he empowers young people to speak up and join the fight against the disease.

Sang regularly travels from Southern California to the Bay Area to help her family care for her father, Quan, who has Alzheimer’s. Inspired by his diagnosis, Sang now volunteers as an Alzheimer’s advocate for the AAPI community.

When Jackie noticed her husband Tony’s cognitive decline, she assumed it was normal aging. Despite their daughters’ concerns, a doctor dismissed the possibility of dementia. Without a diagnosis, Jackie missed out on helpful resources and had to learn to care for Tony on her own.
