    Currently, more than 426,500 New Yorkers are living with Alzheimer’s disease and more than 543,000 family and friends are providing care. The Alzheimer’s Association Northeastern New York Chapter provides support services, care options and education for families and caregivers across a 17-county area in the northeastern most corner of New York State. From the Capital Region to Plattsburgh, from Oneonta to Columbia/Greene and everything in between, your local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is here to help.

    The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

Note, we have Program Managers who provide on-the-ground support across our 17-county territory. If you are not able to travel to our office, call our main office line and we'll connect you with a local dementia specialist, who can meet you where you are.
