Early Alzheimer's Support & Education (EASE) Program

Early Alzheimer's Support & Education (EASE) Program

EASE is an interactive learning program for people with early-stage memory loss and their care partners. It consists of 8 consecutive weeks, followed by a 1-month wrap-up meeting. Participants will learn about Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, as well as current research and treatment plans. Other topics include legal and financial preparation, communication and compensatory strategies, learning the importance of building a support team, tips for home safety, and exploring care and support services. Separate support groups, one for those living with the disease and one for their care partner, is offered at the end of each session.

Enrollment in EASE is free, but you must be pre-screened by one of our dementia specialists before registering.

We currently have openings for our virtual EASE program beginning in January. This 8-week program will meet on Thursdays from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The program kicks off on Thursday, January 22. If interested in attending, please email Liz Ford at eeford@alz.org or call 518.675.7214 to schedule a pre-screening.
