Help Developing Your Alzheimer's Road Map
A Care Consultation is a service that can help you and your family develop a road map to navigate through the many thoughts, emotions, and questions you may have about memory loss and cognitive decline.
Care Consultations can be useful whether you or someone you love has just been diagnosed, or if you and your family are seeing things from different perspectives and are perhaps feeling overwhelmed. You will receive valuable one-to-one assistance that will enable you to better understand and manage the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias.
Care Consultations can include the following elements:
- Identifying your current needs
- Assisting in developing a plan
- Assisting in finding resources and services
- Providing education and support
- Providing ongoing support and follow-up
If you have questions or concerns and feel you could benefit from Care Consultation services, please call the Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline at 1.800.272.3900 and request a care consultation today. See more about Helpline services here.
