Glenda Berry is Alzheimer’s Association area leader for Area West chapters, overseeing operations in eight regions across 26 states. A member of the executive team, Berry manages a 650-person field network comprising regional staff in 35 Association chapters. She raises funds for research, programs and advocacy at the federal and local levels, which provide care and support to people living with Alzheimer’s and their families.
Berry has held various leadership positions focused on strategic development, fundraising and chapter relations since joining the Association in 2011. She most recently served as senior director of Chapter Operations in the Home Office, responsible for leading 27 chapters in meeting their operations and performance goals. As president and CEO of the Mid-South Chapter, she directed fundraising, engagement, volunteer recruitment and program services.
With more than 30 years of experience in nonprofits, Berry has worked with organizations such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Arthritis Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association and Social Advocates for Youth. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from Georgia Southern University.
