Julie Christie garnered a Best Actress nod for role as Fiona. Christie previously won a Golden Globe for her performance. Actress and Alzheimer Champion Sarah Polley was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay, based on “The Bear Came Over the Mountain,” a short story by acclaimed novelist Alice Munro.
