Originally called for by the Alzheimer's Association and the Joint Congressional Task Force on Alzheimer's, the ASG is a non-partisan, blue-ribbon panel of national leaders, created to assess the nation's readiness to deal with the Alzheimer crisis and develop a national strategic plan. The ASG will release its recommendations during our upcoming Alzheimer's Association Public Policy Forum.

In addition to the release of the ASG report, veteran award-winning journalist and author Maria Shriver will be a featured speaker at this year's Forum. Her father, Sargent Shriver, is battling Alzheimer's disease.
