Respite care involves short term or temporary care of the sick or disabled for a few hours or weeks, designed to provide relief to the regular caregiver. The regular caregiver is usually a family member. For information on accessing respite care services, contact our 24/7 Helpline 800.272.3900. There may be some limited financial support for respite care services in some areas. Call the Helpline to inquire.
