Throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada, we hold support groups for caregivers and for individuals with younger-onset and early-stage Alzheimer's. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals and are currently meeting via phone or video, and in person as needed.
Early Stage Support Groups
Our early stage support groups are for the person with a physician’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder, who is comfortable discussing their diagnosis and symptoms, and wants the opportunity to talk with others in a group setting.
Pre-screening is required prior to enrollment. For more information call 800.272.3900.
Caregiver Support Groups
The best thing you can do for the person you are caring for is stay physically and emotionally strong. Support groups offer comfort and reassurance, and can be a good source of practical advice and even humor. To find a caregiver support group , go to our events finder page, or call the Alzheimer's Association 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
Our support group information is updated regularly and is subject to change. Please call or email the group meeting contact before attending to verify that your group is still meeting at the time, date and location listed. Please note our caregiver support groups are not appropriate for professionals or paid caregivers.
ALZConnected Online Community
