Could a jolt to the brain help people with Alzheimer's?

A study at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh is investigating a new approach: delivering electrical pulses to the brains of people with Alzheimer’s. AHN is one of 20 sites in the United States selected to participate in the study, which is also being conducted in Canada and Germany. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette spoke with Sara Murphy, our Vice President of Programs and Services, about the new study at the link above.
