Our work is only possible with the help and support of volunteers. The Alzheimer's Association relies on dedicated volunteers to achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. We seek committed, passionate volunteers to educate the public, lead support groups and provide social engagement to those living with early-stage Alzheimer's in all communities.

Join us for a volunteer info session to learn more information about volunteering and making a difference in our community!

Community Educators

Community Educators are volunteer public speakers who help the Alzheimer's Association provide consumer education. These volunteers deliver prepared presentations on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

Community Outreach Representatives

Community Representatives raise awareness of our programs, provide basic information, and link consumers to services. They liaise between the Association and local business, civic or faith groups.

Support Group Facilitators

Support Group Facilitators create a safe, open environment where people share their feelings, thoughts and experiences to better cope with and manage the shared challenges of dementia.

Early Stage Leaders

Early-Stage Social Engagement Leaders plan social engagement activities such as bowling, baseball games, potlucks, tours and other cultural events for people living with memory loss and their care partners.

Faith Outreach Representatives

Faith Outreach Representatives are liaisons between the Alzheimer's Association and local faith groups or congregations. They share information about Alzheimer’s disease, our free resources, and ways to join our cause at local community and education events.

Promotores

Promotores volunteers raise awareness of our programs, provide basic information, and link consumers to our services. Promotores are traditionally connectors, educators, peer mentors or health advocates who serve as liaisons to the Hispanic/Latino community.
