Pittsburgh, PA - 3/5/24 – The Alzheimer’s Association names Metz Lewis Brodman Must O’Keefe and its president, Christopher Brodman, as the top National Walk to End Alzheimer’s team and participant in the Alzheimer’s Association Legal Industry Leadership Council, a group of law firms that offers an opportunity for firms, lawyers and clients to access Association care and support resources.

The company raised over $51,000 for the 2023 Pittsburgh Walk to End Alzheimer’s, with Brodman raising $20,000. Brodman and the law firm were presented with an award for their fundraising efforts on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater PA Chapter.

“I am very honored to make such a significant contribution to an organization that is so important to me and my family, but this contribution is not just mine,” said Christopher Brodman, president of Metz Lewis Brodman Must O’Keefe. “Many clients, contacts, and friends helped us reach our goal through their generosity. It is with them that I accept this award.”

"This accomplishment is extremely significant for Metz Lewis Brodman Must O'Keefe; being recognized as the #1 law firm in the country and #1 attorney in fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association through the Legal Industry Council is an incredible honor,” said Lynzy Groves, Pittsburgh Walk to End Alzheimer’s manager. "Chris and his colleagues deserve every accolade that comes from their tireless efforts to one day live in a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia."

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs. The 2024 Pittsburgh Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on October 19 at Highmark Stadium in Station Square.

More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease – a leading cause of death in the United States. Additionally, more than 11 million family members and friends provide care to people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In Pennsylvania alone, there are more than 280,000 people living with the disease and 400,000 caregivers.
