The Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter serves all of Rhode Island. We help all those facing Alzheimer's disease and other dementias by providing support groups and educational resources, while advancing crucial research and public policy initiatives.
Our mission: To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

The Alzheimer's Association is a single nonprofit organization, the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families and professionals and working to find effective treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. Rhode Island is one of over 70 chapters of the Alzheimer's Association throughout the nation, enabling us to assist families, wherever they live.

The Alzheimer's Association provides services to the Rhode Island community. Our support groups peer-based or professionally led throughout the state and are offered regularly. Our education programs for the general public, both online and in person, feature information on topics such as diagnosis, warning signs, communication, living with Alzheimer's disease and caregiving techniques.

The Alzheimer's Association accelerates research across the globe
As the largest nonprofit funder of innovative research related to Alzheimer's and related disorders, the Association is committed to accelerating the global progress toward methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
The Alzheimer's Association has a highly regarded scientific program. Working with thousands of expert reviewers around the globe, we provide millions of dollars in research grants every year. The Alzheimer's Association also sponsors the largest international research conference on Alzheimer's. In addition, the Association works to educate the public about exciting developments in the research community. The Alzheimer's Association TrialMatch™ program is a free service that makes it easy for people with Alzheimer's, caregivers, families and physicians to locate clinical trials based on personal criteria (diagnosis, stage of disease) and location.
