Sample bequest language for wills and trusts

    Wills or trusts

Help your clients leave a gift for the Alzheimer's Association in a will or trust with the following language:

"I give [the residue of my estate], or [ ______% of the residue of my estate], or [the sum of __________ dollars] to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc. (the Alzheimer's Association), Tax ID# 13-3039601, whose home office address is currently 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601-7633 in support of its full mission."

    Beneficiary designations

Leaving a gift to the Alzheimer's Association through a financial account is simple. Clients can name the Alzheimer's Association or Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc. (legal name), Tax ID #13-3039601.

Please contact us for specific language if your client is considering a restricted gift, like research or caregiver support by will, trust or beneficiary designation. It's a good idea to talk with our planned giving team at the Alzheimer's Association first to ensure we can honor your client's wishes.

    Please notify us

Every planned gift is a step toward creating a better world for people living with Alzheimer's and other dementias, and your clients can lead the way.

The Founders Society celebrates the generosity of those who have included a gift to the Alzheimer's Association in their will, trust, beneficiary designations or other planned gift.

Please encourage your clients to inform us of their meaningful gift so we may invite them into this exclusive group. Your client can choose to remain anonymous or share their story to encourage other like-minded people to give.
