The Alzheimer’s Association Memories in the Making® program offers creative art expression for individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early to the middle stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The program is delivered at our Lake Oswego office, at 5285 Meadows Rd #451, Lake Oswego, OR 97035.

Memories in the Making® participants create imaginative and colorful watercolor paintings. Most have no prior art experience. The painting process provides an opportunity to engage socially and reminisce about meaningful life moments, individuals or personal interests. Participants share stories about their art if they wish in an emotionally safe and supportive environment.

Registration

Memories in the Making® is free, but space is limited and screening and registration are required. Call 800.272.3900 for more information or to register. Registration is open year-round, so please call to check availability.

Upcoming Dates

Memories in the Making® is currently available every Friday from 1-2:30 p.m. PST from May 5 to June 30, 2022.

More Memories in the Making® sessions will occur throughout the year, upcoming dates and times to be announced.
